As part of National Graduate Week, Careermap.co.uk, the creators of an exciting new initiative, ran a Golden Ticket Competition, which gave final year university students and graduates the chance to win an interview with a graduate employer.

Five lucky winners now have the opportunity to shine and impress the interviewer, which could ultimately result in them landing a place on a graduate scheme.

In light of the current graduate labour market, Careermap recognised how challenging and competitive it is to find a graduate scheme, particularly this year, with the impact of COVID-19. The competition entrants applied for an equal opportunity to get a foot in the door with a graduate employer of their choice. All the winners now need to do is sell themselves in their personalised interview!

This competition was open to everyone, from all universities, degree classifications, backgrounds and ages. Next year, National Graduate Week plans to build on the success of the launch and open up even more opportunities for graduates to connect with employers.
