The DevSecOps Software Engineer Graduate Programme

I joined the Digital Services team at ONS to work on programmes that would help ONS to fulfil its critical workforce needs within the digital and technology professions, and to work with education and external groups to promote our organisation as an employer of choice.

The DevSecOps software engineer graduate programme is our first programme within the Digital, Data and Technology profession that takes students from year in industry through to a graduate position within our organisation, following a development plan that will see them become permanent employees with further progression opportunities, within 3 years of starting as a placement student.

We have started the programme with 14 students this October, and hope to grow this and widen our scope to other specialist technical areas in future years.
